Our clinical training program places students at DIMHANS (Dharwad Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences) hospital in Dharwad for a comprehensive 15-day immersion in the psychiatric department. In this first phase of their mental health training, students are introduced to the department’s structure and operations, setting it apart from other hospital departments. The training experience is enriched with expert-led lectures from doctors, covering a range of mental health disorders, treatments, and innovative patient care techniques that ensure students are well-prepared to address diverse challenges in the field.
